awen@thelibrary in a small charity. A group of local people support the hub by arranging and publicising activities: groups, talks and events for adults and for children. We have a regular Friends and Neighbours group, a Walking Group for over 50s, an Art Group, a Gardening Group, Knit and Natter Groups, a Reminiscence Group, Book Group. We also set up talks, local history walks and children’s craft activities.
awen@thelibrary encourages local people, over the age of 18 to become members and volunteer to be involved in planning, setting up and running events. Anyone with ideas about what activities might be arranged, or with a particular skill they would like to share would be very welcome as would willing helpers.
