Volunteer Befrienders needed today

We are looking for Volunteer Befrienders who can spare an hour a week to visit and chat to an older person and provide friendship and support.  It is volunteer week from 1^st June to 7^th June and we hope to use this opportunity to gain new volunteers.

The role of a befriender is flexible and easy to work around busy lifestyles, one or two hours a week is all it takes to make a difference to the life of an older person. No experience is necessary, you just need to have good communication skills, be reliable and enjoy having a chat.
