| Calon Heart is a small charity based in Llandaff Cardiff. Our aim is to improve accessibility and availability of lifesaving defibrillators in Wales, which in turn, will help improve the out of hospital cardiac arrest outcomes – currently, less than 1 in 10 people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest in the UK. Calon Heart also seeks to provide CPR and defibrillator training to the masses to improve the rates of bystander CPR.
We have plenty of opportunities available for you to join us in raising funds! We have events throughout the year – including fun runs, lunches, opera nights and many, many more. We are looking for volunteers who can get involved in these events. This could range from setting up, all the way to picking out our raffle tickets, taking photos for our social media, advertising our events and stewarding.
We also could do with some support behind the scenes. We would love to have volunteers who can support us with admin duties, marketing, event admin and finance support. You would need specific skills for these roles, although lots of support will be given.
We are a friendly team, and we love meeting new people. The office is based in Llandaff, although we wouldn’t mind if you wanted to work from home (if the role allows). |
