Autism Spectrum Connections Cymru (ASCC) is a dedicated service for autistic adults aged 16 and over. We work alongside autistic people and their families to provide the safe space and tailored specialist support. Our range of support services include direct employment support, into work support, benefit claims and appeals, and social opportunities.
We are looking for volunteers to work alongside autistic adults aged 16+ at our free-to-access social groups. The groups are held at our base at 21 High Street, Cardiff.
Could you spare 2-3 hours once a week to help grow and run one of the social groups?
We are looking for someone to lead:
– Creative Writing group (every Tuesday)
– Social Drop-ins (every Tuesday)
– Arts& crafts (every Wednesday)
– Coffee mornings (every Thursday)
Or share your own interests and hobbies with us and set up your own group.
Volunteer roles are open to neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals! All you need is passion and consistency!
If you’re interested, then the team would love to meet you for an informal chat.
Please get in touch by email on info@asc-cymru.org or you can call us on 029 2022 8794 (on Tuesdays – Thursdays) and 07831 990 106 (on Mondays & Fridays).
