Trowbridge Pantry is a small charity that aims to help alleviate food and fuel poverty in Trowbridge and other parts of east Cardiff.
We do this by running a pantry session on Fridays at Trowbridge Community Centre, as well as other community activities.
Volunteers can choose from the following list.
To help:
Stock and prepare the pantry.
Run the pantry sessions (serve members, make refreshments, social contact etc)
Admin tasks, publicity and ICT (home-based).
Source food and raise money.
Reach out to local people in need.
Hours: 3 hour shifts. Thursdays 1.30 till 4.30 p.m., Fridays 9a.m. till 12 and 12 till 3p.m.
Accredited training and uniform provided. 6 month commitment preferred.
